It's time for the first contract duffle bag of the off-season, and less than a week after the championship game! Our first duffle bag was delivered by the Kansas State Wildcats.
The Wildcats have already announced a handful of their engagements for the upcoming season, such as their participation in the 2022 Cayman Islands Classic, a 3-game series with Nebraska which was delayed a year by COVID-19, a 4-game series with Wichita State and most recently Rocco Miller has announced their 2022-23 season opener against UT Rio Grande Valley.
Details on those games as well as others found below:
First season head coach Jerome Tang has 11 of 13 non-conference games locked in and is understandably filling the schedule with winnable home games. Of course, this can always backfire horribly (see 2019-20 Nebraska). This is I would expect the remaining 2 games to be schedule to fill the gap between the season opener and the tip-off of the Cayman Islands Classic, and do not expect the Wildcats to leave Manhattan during that stretch.
